To mark International Women’s Day 2013, the University of Huddersfield’s Feminist Research Group are holding their inaugural event ‘Women’s Lives, Women’s Stories: A Feminist Research Symposium’. Organised by a group of postgraduate researchers and academic staff, the event will showcase the feminist research currently being undertaken within the University and bring together feminist academics, students and practitioners for networking, discussion and debate.
Poster presentations are welcomed for display at the event to illustrate your research. Posters do not need to be submitted in advance, just brought on the day. You will not be expected to formally present your poster; however you may want to be available to discuss your research during lunch. Please ensure your posters of A1 size and clearly displays your name and contact details should anyone wish to contact you about your work.
This event is free for students and staff at the University of Huddersfield. For external delegates there is a nominal charge of £20 (waged) or £10 (unwaged). Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
